Fishnet Stats

I believe in supporting the open-source projects I use, especially one I use as often as Lichess. To that end I've donated monthly since December 2020, contributed through penetration testing, and donated compute time by running fishnet.

This page keeps track of how many games I've helped analyze!

How it works

Each VPS runs fishnet next to a small service that pulls finished games out of the logs and appends them to a CSV. Once an hour, one of the boxes rsyncs everyone's CSVs, merges them into a single SQLite database, and pushes the tallied stats to a public repo on GitHub that this page reads live in your browser. Each push amends and force-pushes a single commit, so GitHub only ever keeps one commit of history.
